Positive Steps
Childcare & Preschool |
Choosing a Quality Childcare Provider I know exactly how you feel. You hate to leave your little one but you have to work. I was in your shoes years ago as an active duty Air Force person. I searched for a Childcare program that could meet my child’s need and my expectations for learning and loving care while I was away. After careful consideration for what was best for my children, I chose to leave my military career and become the home daycare provider that I could not find. There are many options out there and the search can be extremely stressful. I’ve built this page in hopes to assist parents in knowing what to look for and what to expect when searching for quality childcare. Choosing a quality childcare provider is one of the most important decisions a parent will ever make. It can also prove to be one of the most difficult decisions to make. I encourage families to be fully informed about their options. To choose child care wisely you need an awareness of what quality child care is, how to recognize it, and how to find it. To help you meet this challenge, Positive Steps Daycare offer parents with the following resources to help guide you. I urge parents to take advantage of the resources provided, by using the following helpful information when searching for a childcare provider; as each and every word herein was written with your child’s safety and happiness in mind, and with his or her best interests at heart. The provider you choose will play an important role in the growth and development of your child. As you weigh your choices, remember that the most important considerations revolve around trust. You should be able to trust that the provider you choose will attend to your child's individual needs. It is essential that your child feels comfortable and safe in the setting you choose. To choose child care wisely you need an awareness of what quality child care is, how to recognize it, and how to find it. Use the following websites to help guide you in your search to learn more about quality care. My advice as a mother is to choose an Accredited Childcare program. |
